Children’s Therapy

Children of all ages can be seen for EEG Neurofeedback, even as young as one year of age.  All children receive a standardized assessment of sensory processing capabilities, the Sensory Profile 2; this is included as part of the quantitative EEG (qEEG) intake process. A medical based assessment of Sleep Proficiency is also included if the child is experiencing sleep disturbances.  As an Occupational Therapist certified in Sensory Integration, Dr. Marshall incorporates sensory regulation strategies into the biofeedback session.  All children are treated with a 19 channel EEG placement, similar to the process they experienced obtaining the qEEG.

Dr. Marshall is available for more in-depth diagnostic evaluation of Sensory Processing if warranted as well as consultation with the school system or IEP process.

If direct Occupational Therapy is warranted recommendations will be made following evaluation using the Sensory Profile 2 as well as the qEEG results.  Referral to a Registered Occupational Therapist associate is also available.
